One of the stories I don’t like is “The Faith that Brings Me Peace”. I don’t like the way she talks about faithfulness to someone who committed a crime. He wasn’t someone who should have received faithfulness because he was a violent person. She defends him and says she stands by him but he obviously wasn’t a person she should have put her trust and faith in. She says that all should be forgiven, and I understand that but I don’t understand to the point where she would choose to stay with a man that has been in jail for 30 years of their lives together. She is losing most of her life and letting the days pass. She spends her life supporting herself and seeing her husband for only a few hours a week and talking to him for 20 minutes at a time. Thats not a real life. Its being afraid of what else there is out there.
